The projects of water treatment facilities are developed on the basis of modern water treatment technologies, innovative and energy saving equipment and advanced engineering and structural concepts.

All facilities are equipped with automatic process control systems that provide their reliable operation and minimum number of servicemen.

 


Water intake facility and drinking water treatment plant using groundwater sources and having treatment capacity of 500 - 1000 m3/day

Water treatment facilities may be made of individual modules on the basis of Euro-containers having the dimensions of 12192x2438x2438 mm or 6058x2438x2438 mm.

The facilities of the above-mentioned treatment capacity comprise the following:

I. Water intake facility:

  • submersible pumps for the operating well and the reserve well;
  • modular artesian well-heads;
  • utility and automation systems of the first-stage pumping station

IIModular water treatment facilities:

  • raw water control unit
  • aeration unit
  • 1-stage filters/li>
  • 2-stage filters*
  • drinking water reservoir (DWR)**;
  • automated 2-stage pumping station to supply water to consumers
  • fire-fighting pumping station
  • disinfection unit
  • automation system of water treatment facilities
  • engineering equipment and lines
  • chemical feed plant for manganese removal ***.

 

* The quality of water determines the need in 2nd stage filters

** DWR may be located outside modular facilities

***Chemical feed plant is arranged if water contains manganese

The cost of building and assembling operations is 30 – 50 thousand rubles per 1 m3/day

 

The cost of project and detailed design documentation is calculated as a percentage of the total construction cost depending on the complexity category of the facilities to be designed; approximately it amounts to some 3 – 9 per cent.

The prices for design and survey operations are determined in accordance with the Reference-Book of Design Work Base Prices СБЦП 81-02-03-2001, except the construction of facilities carried out through the employment of the budgetary financial means of the city of Moscow (for these facilities specially developed Price Reference Books МРР are applicable).

The water treatment facilities of 10 000 m3 per day treatment capacity may be composed of two modules, each of 5 000 m3 per day treatment capacity.

The modules of 5 000 m3 per day treatment capacity are made on the basis of standard Euro-containers having the dimensions of 12192 x 2438 x 2438 mm or 6058 x 2438 x 2438 mm.

The facilities of the above-mentioned treatment capacity comprise the following:

I. Water intake facility:

  • submersible pumps for the operating well and the reserve well;
  • artesian well-heads
  • utility and automation systems of the first-stage pumping station

II. Water treatment facilities:/strong>

  • 2nd -stage filters*

Drinking water treatment plant using surface water sources and having treatment capacity over 10 000 m3/day, membrane ultra-filtration being applied

Membrane application guarantees constant and unequalled water quality from the angle of hygienic and bacteriological indices.

Ultra-filtration methods are widely used because, apart from advanced treatment, they provide factually complete removal of microorganisms, including viruses; besides, this technology is cheaper than nano-filtration and reverse osmosis. 

The facilities comprise the following:

1. Inlet chamber

2. Ozone destruction unit

3. Primary ozonation contact chamber

4. Mixer

5. Settling tank

6. Primary ozonation contact chamber

7. Sand filters

8. Membrane ultra-filters

9. Distribution chamber

10. Clear water reservoir (CWR)

The cost of building and assembling operations is 10 thousand rubles per 1 m3/day

Drinking water treatment plant having a treatment capacity over 500 000 m3/day, ozonation and sorption technology being applied

Ozonation and sorption improve the barrier function of treatment facilities, if natural or man-induced pollutants are removed from water.

The application of ozonation and sorption for water treatment purposes provides the following advantages:

  • advanced destruction of hardly-oxidizable organic compounds
  • reduced level of toxic organic chlorine compounds produced as a result of water chlorination
  • highly reliable elimination of viral pollutants
  • improved organoleptic indices of water

The cost of building and assembling operations is 10 thousand rubles per 1 m/day3/day

Sludge treatment facilities for water treatment plants

A complex of facilities for waterworks sludge dewatering and drain water tertiary treatment envisages the establishment of a sludge treatment system that would make it possible not to use sludge beds and to exclude the discharge of industrial effluent water produced by water treatment plants into natural water-bodies.

The cost of building and assembling operations is 6.0 million rubles per 1 t of sludge dry matter

The cost of project and detailed design documentation is calculated as a percentage of the total construction cost depending on the complexity category of the facilities to be designed; approximately it amounts to some 3 – 9 per cent.

The prices for design and survey operations are determined in accordance with the Reference-Book of Design Work Base Prices СБЦП 81-02-03-2001, except the construction of facilities carried out through the employment of the budgetary financial means of the city of Moscow (for these facilities specially developed Price Reference Books МРР are applicable).
